The Battle for Your Hearts and Minds

Spiritual warfare is the struggle against malevolent spiritual forces associated with Satan and his demons. It encompasses both inward battles, like personal temptations and moral struggles and outward conflicts, against societal influences that oppose God's purposes. The Apostle Paul emphasizes this in Ephesians 6:12, stating that believers "do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness.

Sun Tzu, the ancient Chinese military strategist, lived 500-600 years before the Apostle Paul, but Tsu understood that warfare should be approached strategically, with careful planning and consideration. Tsu’s war strategies began with understanding yourself and your enemy as the first crucial step for success. What are your strengths and weaknesses, and what are your enemies’ strengths and weaknesses? Most Americans don’t realize there is a battle being waged for their hearts and minds and that the enemy’s main strength is the control of media, and the woke corporations that use our own money to wage war against us.

Wage war against us? That seems extreme. But what would you call the near universal look-the- other way acceptance and lock-step reporting (or lack of reporting) of open borders, transgender mutilation of children, critical race theory taught in schools, no cash bail leading to rising crime, the rise of antisemitism and the moral equivalency of terrorist rape and murder to military defense of a populace, green new deal devotion sucking trillions of dollars out of our economy while our oil fields are stagnant and our electric grid continues to age and be prone to cyber attacks, and a whole litany of social, economic, and foreign policy that on the surface seems absurd, but collectively…are an attack on our souls. 

The mainstream media refuses to carry stories that show Democrats in a negative light while running with anything that would show Republicans in a bad light. CBS’ editing out a Kamla Harris “word salad” answer on 60 Minutes seems like a walk in the park compared to Friday’s CNN headline regarding Trump’s latest rambling foot ‘n mouth episode: “Trump says ‘war hawk’ Liz Cheney should be fired upon in escalation of violent rhetoric against his opponents." Wait, what? Trump said Cheney should be shot! No, of course not. Here is what he said…verbatim. The red portion was left out of virtually every mainstream report.

"I don’t blame [former Vice President Dick Cheney] for sticking with his daughter, but his daughter is a very dumb individual. Very dumb, she’s a radical war hawk. Let's put her with a rifle standing there with nine barrels shooting at her, OK? Let's see how she feels about it. You know, when the guns are trained on her face," Trump said. "You know, they're all war hawks when they're sitting in Washington in nice buildings saying, ‘Oh gee well, let’s send 10,000 troops right into the mouth of the enemy."

What does all of this have to do with spiritual warfare? Well, there is a war for your heart and your mind, and where you spend your money determines how big their war chest is…and it’s big…very big. As Sun Tsu stated

"If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory you will also suffer defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle." ~ Sun Tzu

 So, what do we know about the enemy? With CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, The Washington Post, The New York Times and thousands of other venues world-wide, all speaking in unison and, woke corporations taking the profits earned from our hard-earned purchases, we now know the enemy’s strengths are gained through our purchases?  I’ve taken my family to Disney twice and probably have spent $30,000 on The Walt Disney Company. Today, making sure Mickey and his friends include LGBTQ+ representation is a key corporate strategy. Ever shop ayt Target? I did. So Target proudly displaying bulge friendly bathing suits for men dressing as women should inform me to shop elsewhere. Private equity titan BlackRock promotes ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) investing principles to their investor’s detriment. All these actors are aided by the digital world controlled by the likes of Alphabet (Google) where a liberal bias in search results show us a female Pope, black nazis and native American founding fathers. And there is Meta (Facebook) quietly spending $400 million on the 2020 election all of it in support of these liberal absurdities.

Well, lets get back to Sun Tsu. The first thing is, if you want to capture the hearts and minds of 335 million people you need a platform. We witness every day the dichotomy of what our eyes see and what the press tells us. 10,000 people stuck under a bridge in El Passo, TX is a secure border. Crime in the cities has run amok but were told that crime is down. Except for the fact that the statistics were lies. On and on.

We do not see the man behind the curtain pulling the strings! These woke corporations give donations that were generated by our hard-earned money to organizations we would never support. Donations to Planned Parenthood, BLM, Gay, and Trans rights organizations…on and on it goes…where it stops, nobody knows. Well, we don’t know where or when it will end, but in a world where Woke Giants seem to dominate every aspect of our lives, it's time for us to take the battle to these woke Goliaths! It’s time for a new David to sling some digital stones. Here's how the battle is shaping up:

The Players

Team Goliath (The Woke Giants):

• Big Tech (Google, Meta, Microsoft, Amazon)

• Mainstream Media

• "Progressive" Politicians

• Billionaire Oligarchs (like George Soros, but with less hair)

  • Woke Corporations (Disney, Target, Blackrock, Starbucks, Nike, Apple et al)

 Team David (The MAGA Movement):

• Proud Americans

• Faith-based warriors

• Free speech advocates

• Small businesses

• People who still think "woke" means they've had too much coffee

The Battlefield

Media Dominance: The Woke Giants have more platforms than a shoe store, from search engines to social media.

Political Influence: Some billionaires collect District Attorneys like Pokémon cards.

• Economic Control: Marx's "From each according to his ability" has become "From each according to our algorithm".

David's Slingshot

Mission: Create a parallel economy where freedom of speech isn't just a suggestion on a Post-it note.

Weapons: Digital media, alternative channels, and the ability to target customers without needing a degree in rocket science.

• Strategy: Precision aiming in the digital space because sometimes you need to think outside the Google box.

The Battle Plan

• Build alternative media channels (without accidentally creating an echo chamber).

• Engage consumers and SMBs (Small and Medium Businesses, not Super Mario Brothers).

• Provide affordable targeting (no, not the archery kind).

• Enable direct connections (like a dating app for the economy).

Companies like Public Square and Mammoth Nation are creating digital markets where conservative shoppers can spend their money knowing a portion of it will not be going to Planned Parenthood. Remember, in this modern David and Goliath story, the stone is digital, the sling is an app, and Goliath has a verified Twitter account. So understand your enemy, who used to be a trusted family friend like Walt Disney, is now a liberal social engineer like Bob Iger. Question where you spend your money and be prepared to take up the battle… After all, it’s not just your wallet they want. They want your heart and your mind. But with faith, courage, and a good Wi-Fi connection, David might just have a chance!
